The joy of cycling and exploring the city

Since childhood, I have always loved cycling, and it has been a part of my life. For me, cycling is not just a way to get around—it’s a source of freedom, excitement, and discovery. When St. Augustine’s Charity provided me with a bike, this passion was reignited, and it transformed my daily life.

Riding a bike gives me a sense of peace and happiness. Moving through the streets, passing through narrow alleys, and discovering new routes is an incredible experience. Cycling has allowed me to see the city from a different perspective, explore its beautiful parks, and enjoy my moments even more. The fresh air, the sounds of nature, and the feeling of freedom while pedalling create an unmatched experience that no other form of transport can provide.

Connecting with my surroundings

Additionally, this experience has helped me connect more with my surroundings. When I ride my bike, I notice details I might miss when using public transport. Seeing old streets, small local shops, and the urban atmosphere makes cycling even more enjoyable for me.

I am incredibly grateful to St. Augustine’s Charity for this amazing opportunity. Cycling has always been a part of my life, and now I have the chance to enjoy it once again. I hope more people can experience the joy of cycling and benefit from all it has to offer.
