At Active Calderdale, we're proud to support organisations like Dad Matters, who are transforming the perinatal journey for fathers by building stronger, more supported communities. One of the innovative ways they do this is through their Walk n Talk programme - a simple yet powerful concept: dads connecting with dads through walking.

Over the past year, something bold and beautiful has taken root in Mixenden. Following the renovation of the Urban Park, there was an opportunity to hand the reins of imagination to local young people—giving them space not just to play, but to create, to lead, and to leave their mark.
